Honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree conferred in 1978 by the San Francisco
Baptist Theological Seminary.

Honorary Doctor of Laws Degree conferred in 1994 by Bob Jones University

EXPERIENCE

Founder and pastor for four years of the Tabernacle Baptist Church of
Morganton, North Carolina.

Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church of Yucca Valley, California for nine years
(1968-1976).

Over eight years of radio ministry.

Speaker in numerous camps, conferences and evangelistic meetings and also in
many Churches accross the nation.

Speaker at the the last three World Congress Meetings.

Has spoken at BJU Bible Conference five times and twice for four chapel
sessions on the subject of Fundamentalism in February of 1994 and 2002.

Pastor of Hamilton Square Baptist Church of San Francisco since January 1,
1977.

Began preaching ministry in 1958, pastoral ministry in 1962.

Active in conference work in the Orient mainly through the Asian-Pacific
Congress of Christian Fundamentalists. Has spoken in over 10 different
conferences in the Philippines and Japan.

OTHER SERVICE

Served two four-year terms as an elected member of the Board of Education of
the Morongo Unified School District, Twentynine Palms, California.

Served six years as member and chairman of the Board of Education of the San
Francisco Christian Schools (k-12).

Served from 1976 to 1987 as a member of the Board of Trustees of the San
Francisco Baptist Theological Seminary, serving as president and chairman of
the board from 1982 to 1987.

Served for over 15 years (beginning 1984) as liaison to the California State
Legislature on behalf of over 100 churches throughout the state.

Has served for over 10 years as co-liaison to the office of the Mayor of San
Francisco on behalf of a number of churches in San Francisco.

Presently serves (since 1981) as the president of the Fellowship of
Fundamental Baptists of Northern California.

DEVELOPMENTS IN 1993

Has led his church through a major assault by radical homosexual
and lesbian activists and has assumed leadership in the city of San
Francisco is spearheading the cause of religious liberty.

Through a concerted media campaign has alerted thousands of
churches and millions of christians across America and around the world to
the immanent dangers of the Homosexual agenda through radio appearances on
over a thousand stations and news releases in every major christian
publication in the nation.

Mobilized hundreds of pastors and laymen in a historic march to
the San Francisco Board of Supervisors dramatically altering the political
landscape in the city.

Promoted major legislative initiatives on both the state and
national levels which enhance the safety and protections of churches from
assaults and disturbances. On the national level, the Clinic Access Bill
was amended to include equal protections for churches. On the state level,
penalties for disturbing church services were doubled.
